EduTech has focused on the compilation and delivery of bespoke CPD courses, seminars and events for ASAQS members .Mandated by SACQSP, the ASAQS provides events that members can attend to keep their CPD portfolio up to date. Valued at R5-billion, the 115 000m² Mall of Africa project will be the largest shopping mall ever built in South Africa in a single phase. The so-called “super-regional” mall will be the heart of the Waterfall City development, located in Midrand between South Africa’s administrative capital, Pretoria, and its economic capital, Johannesburg.  RISM delegation was very impressed by Atterbury’s mammoth development at Waterfall Estate and wishes to thank ASAQS, WBHO and Mr. Norval Wentzel Steinberg, who made a visit to the Mall of Africa site possible.

Our delegation was also impressed by the new training centre of the ASAQS and the work that EduTech does for their members. The possibility of a reciprocity agreement between the two organizations will receive further attention in future. ASAQS is also very interested to share and exchange information on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and produce life-cycle costings with RISM.

Visit to RICS office in Capetown.
